There have been a number of shooting incidents in Bloxwich, West Midlands, in the last month. Four separate attacks have happened in the High Street which the perpetrator has taken random pot shots at people. A car window was smashed with what was believed to be an air rifle pellet, a woman was shot at three times, a man was shot in the arm and an eight-year-old girl was narrowly missed by a pellet.

Police are offering a £20,000 reward for information about men responsible for the rape of a pregnant woman in her home in Finsbury Park, north London, in May 2008. Three men forced their way into the house, pushed a man to the floor and held an object believed to be a sawn-off shotgun to his head. They ransacked the house and one of the attackers forced the woman to perform a sex act, threatening to shoot her and her boyfriend if she did not obey him. Property and a car were stolen.
