A man has been shot dead in his car by a motorcyclist in Tottenham, north London. The victim was shot in the head and managed to leave his vehicle before collapsing in the street.

A teenager brandishing an air rifle shot at three police officers from the window of his home in Heysham, Lancashire. One officer was hit in the chest, another in the groin and a third in the buttocks. Several cars were damaged. A 19-year-old has been charged with three counts of criminal damage, three counts of assaulting a police officer, affray, possession of an air rifle with intent to endanger life and possession of an air rifle with intent to cause fear of violence.

Ian Foden has admitted possession of a firearm and ammunition and been sentenced to five years in prison. A 9mm self-loading pistol and 19 rounds of ammunition were recovered when police executed a warrant at his home in Stretford, Greater Manchester.

He rammed an imitation gun into the mouth of his victim in a mugging in Redditch, Worcestershire. Chakanetsa pleaded guilty to robbery and having an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear and has been jailed for two-and-a-half years.
