A man died at the scene after being shot at a traveller’s site in Calcutt, Wiltshire. A man and woman have since been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and assisting an offender.

Police officers tasered and arrested a man after he was seen reportedly carrying a knife in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The man allegedly refused to put the knife down as instructed by the officers.

Police officers responding to a welfare call in Blackheath, South London arrested a man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and indecent exposure. A Taser was used during the arrest.

Armed police officers were deployed following reports of a man with a gun in a residential area of Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire. A BB gun was recovered at the scene and a man has since been charged in connection with the incident.

Police officers arrested three men on suspicion of firearms offences after a property in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire was damaged by gunshots. No injuries were reported.

Police in Fleetwood, Lancashire have released a photo of a youth wanted in connection with an investigation into criminal damage and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Kai Williams, 27, Junior Dube, 23, and Tyreece Barnett-Leslie, 18, have been jailed for seven years and eleven months, five years and one month, and four years, respectively, for drugs and firearms offences. In November 2025, police officers recovered two sawn-off shotguns, two handguns and a quantity of ammunition from a car parked on a driveway linked to Williams in Coventry, West Midlands. It is believed that Dube supplied the guns. Forensic examination revealed evidence linking all three men to the weapons, while phone messages showed that Barnett-Leslie had sent photos of firearms to Dube. Williams admitted possession of a handgun, possession of a sawn-off shotgun and possession of cocaine with intent to supply, while Dube pleaded guilty to the weapons charges and Barnett-Leslie admitted possession of a handgun, possession of criminal property and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Police officers stopped a car in Birmingham, West Midlands and recovered drugs, a suspected viable pistol and an airgun from the vehicle. A man has since been charged with possession of a firearm, having cocaine and harassment.

Police officers responded following reports from members of the public that a man with a gun was sitting on a bench in the centre of Salisbury, Wiltshire. After determining that the weapon was a lawfully-owned airgun, the officers gave the man words of advice before escorting him home to ensure the gun was stored safely.

A man was arrested after police officers responded to reports of a person with a rifle in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. Local residents were evacuated after police and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team subsequently searched a nearby property. The man has since been charged with making an explosive substance with intent to endanger life/injure and two offences of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and affray.
